Massage is one of the oldest therapies which aids in the art of healing. For over 5000 years massage has been used on both adults and children to help healing from within.
With the fast pace of everyday life our bodies become stressed and fatigued and in turn this leads to pain and discomfort. Toxins build up in our bodies and cause the muscles to ache, and when this happens we tend to alter our posture which leads to further discomfort, hence the cycle goes on and causes more problems physiologically and psychologically. Unfortunately for some of us this pain can become debilitating and cause long term distress and anxiety.
History has shown us over thousands of years that these therapies can put our lives back on track and allow us to have a well balanced “Mind Body and Soul”.

This treatment allows me to get deep to the trigger points of the areas which cause pain and discomfort because of a strain or sprain that has occurred due to incorrect posture, injury or accident.
Those who suffer from sports injuries or have lots of stress in their daily lives, would benefit from this wonderful treatment. Working on the connective tissue and muscular skeletal area’s where the problems are with neuromuscular deep tissue techniques.
Using a combination of oils, hot stones and neuro-muscular techniques I hope to alleviate the pain in the problem area.

The body is divided into ten zones five each side of the body and four lateral zones which cross the neck, diaphragm waistline and pelvis.
I use zone charts to locate areas on the feet and hands that correspond to different parts of the body. Within each zone lie our internal organs which could become weak or sluggish due to an imbalance of our system because of health or neglect.
Tender or sore points on the feet and hands will locate areas which need light pressure applied to ease the discomfort. The benefits are the therapy detoxifies the body, balances and aids relaxation, provides pain relief.

This therapy can be given when seated and fully clothed. The other options which may suit some clients are wrapped in a sarong to enable essential oils to be used on the back and shoulders, or laying on a couch. It all depends on the comfort of the client and their needs which option is best and this will be decided at the free consultation.
The treatment will cover the massage of the back neck shoulders scalp including the face.
Indian Head Massage helps those who suffer from migraine sinus trouble or tension around the neck and shoulders. Improves concentration and aids sleep.
